Professor Joanna Clarke
A former forensic psychologist with 23 years of experience in the criminal justice system, Jo has a strong focus on safeguarding. Her work revolves around resilience, both for individuals and organisations, particularly in roles involving potential trauma exposure.
Donald Findlater
Donald was a director with child protection charity, the Lucy Faithfull Foundation, from 2002 to March 2024. He previously worked as a “subject matter expert” with the Department of Education in Safeguarding and a Board Member of the Independent Safeguarding Authority and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Anjum Mouj

An expert in unconscious bias, diversity, inclusion and belonging, Anjum specialises in bringing an intersectional approach to safeguarding. Passionate about ensuring a safeguarding culture is robust toprotect the most vulnerable, she has worked in safeguarding for over 30 years.

Dr. R. Karl Hanson

Karl is one of the world’s experts on risk assessment for people at risk for committing sexual crime. In 2002, he was invited to the Vatican for a conference on best practices for the prevention of sexual abuse by priests and religious.

Di is a psychotherapist specialising in work with looked after children and their foster carers. She brings a wealth of practical and academic safeguarding experience, together with a rich understanding of the challenges of safeguarding in practice.

Maxine has over 30 years experience working in complex high secure environments where the safeguarding of vulnerable and at-risk adults is at the forefront of clinical practice. She is a highly skilled supervisor and clinician with strong academic links.

A seasoned executive at board level, with extensive strategic, operational, and professional expertise in health and social care spanning over 20 years. Sandra has a background in the care home and retirement living sector, specialising in eldercare safeguarding.

Isabelle King

Laura Bowden
