Year 11 Resilience Training
Happy, resilient children
When it comes to year 10 and 11, there is no doubt that our current education system is geared towards focusing young minds on a few weeks of highly charged examinations. Leading up to this there are many months of pep talks, revision and tests to help ensure they can do their best and move on to either vocational or more academic studies.
Year 11 Resilience Training gives them practical techniques to keep a balanced approach in times of exam preparation and stress, ultimately, doing better as a result.
GCSEs: giving them the tools to succeed… one-hour session
From a recent session with year 11’s in York, of the 93% of students responding to the question “Would you recommend this session to another school?” 98% said, “yes”, they would recommend the session.
This suggests that students believe the session on resilience does allow them to cope with the pressures of the exam period by effectively managing their levels of stress.
Talk to us about supporting the year 11 GCSE students in your school. Together, we can make a big difference to their lives now and in the future.
We can also support sixth-form students too.
Year 7 – 10: five, one-hour sessions
Our sessions are designed to provide students with an evidence-based strategy to successfully manage the pressures of school life: friends, tests, exams and expectations.
The programme can be tailored to be delivered to various sized groups and form part of a wider programme dedicated to supporting students through different stages of their time in school.
