Adults at Risk Safeguarding Training

Safeguarding adults at risk requires specialised knowledge and skills to identify, prevent and respond to abuse or neglect.

Petros provides comprehensive training designed to equip professionals with the understanding and confidence needed to protect vulnerable adults effectively.

Our courses cover recognising different types of abuse including physical, emotional, financial, and neglect. We also explore the legal duties under the Care Act 2014, including the principles of empowerment, prevention, proportionality, protection, partnership, and accountability.

Training emphasises the importance of person-centred approaches that respect autonomy while ensuring safety. Participants learn how to conduct appropriate risk assessments, respond to disclosures sensitively, and work collaboratively with other agencies.
