Eldercare Safeguarding

 

Safeguarding older adults presents unique challenges that require tailored approaches. Petros provides eldercare safeguarding training designed to increase awareness of risks such as neglect, financial exploitation, and abuse within care settings and communities.

Our training covers the physical, emotional and social aspects of elder abuse, including recognising subtle signs and understanding the impact of isolation and dementia. We emphasise respect for dignity, autonomy and informed consent within safeguarding practice.

We also focus on legal frameworks including the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act, guiding participants on best practice in reporting concerns and multi-agency collaboration.

Through interactive learning, Petros empowers professionals to advocate effectively for older adults and promote safe, compassionate care environments.
