All it requires is a commitment to the scheduled sessions and home practice routine.
No previous experience of meditation is required or necessary.
Our Mindfulness Course consists of:
Eight, one to two-hour fortnightly sessions of instruction and discussion, where we look at different ways of being mindful and different guided practices. We also look at how mindfulness can be practiced informally everyday, both at work and in home life. Our sessions include time for the group to share experiences and explore what comes up.
The course requires participants to commit to around 30 minutes daily home practice. This can feel challenging to fit in for many people and may also feel quite intense at first, but this is a crucial element of mindfulness practice.
By the end of the eight week course you will have a good sense of how to practice and how this benefits you. Ensuring that you can go on developing a mindful way of living in your own time and way with all the mental and physical health benefits.
